2nd Shift   4 pm - 12 am

Material Handler II

Responsibilities:

• Pick and Handle pallets, boxes, wood moldings and carpet pad, safely without damage to product or warehouse property. 
• Collect, Prep, and Label soft surface carpet samples for shipment.
• Perform SMS (small package system) processes and stage for shipment for pick-up.
• Operate portable scanner system for relocating and tracking inventory movement correctly.
• Inspect and clean work area and lift truck daily.
• Adhere to all Mohawk facility Safety Rules, Guidelines, Traffic patterns, and Processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds frequently during shift.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer preferred.
