RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develops production schedules for assigned departments based on customer orders and delivery requirements through assigning production orders to available machines in a manner that provides both maximum output and consistency with Company goals. In addition, will schedule rework and special orders.
  • Responsible for defining shifts and hours required each week to complete the customer’s needs and communicate this back to the facilities.
  • Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customer service, sales team, and plant production departments to ensure the on-time completion of products through monitoring order status from start to finish.
  • Assists in maintaining the amount of raw materials inventory necessary to meet planned production schedules. Tracks the flow of materials through the assigned areas.
  • Adjusts planned production schedules as necessary when order dates cannot be met. Responsible for optimizing schedule to improve the productivity in facilities.
  • Responsible for Root Cause Analysis on orders that have been missed or not on time.
  • Report back to Executive leadership recommendations on how to fix an issue with missed or not on time orders.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3-5 Years’ experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
  • SAP Experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization and external business contacts.
  • High MS Office skillset needed.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to schedule and prioritize work, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions before they occur.
  • Ability to manage other employees with multiple deadlines and changing priorities to facilitate the production of a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail.
