What we need:

 

The Marketing Project Specialist is responsible for managing the intake of creative requests, ensuring they are properly vetted, and converting them into actionable projects for the creative team. This role is central to the smooth execution of marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and that communication is clear and consistent among all stakeholders.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming marketing and creative requests, ensuring all necessary information and requirements are captured
  • Work with stakeholders to clarify project scope, define deliverables, and establish realistic timelines
  • Convert vetted requests into detailed project plans within the project management tool
  • Partner closely with the creative team to manage project execution, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain clear and frequent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential risks
  • Keep all project details, notes, and status updates accurately maintained in the project management tool
  • Identify and escalate any project-related issues, concerns, or risks to the appropriate team members or leadership in a timely manner
  • Facilitate collaboration by bringing the right people together to make decisions and overcome obstacles
  • Proactively identify next steps and solutions to prevent projects from stalling and keep them moving forward
  • Support the project team by removing roadblocks and ensuring they have what they need to succeed
  • Perform other project management duties as needed

 

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role, preferably in a marketing or creative environment
  • PMP Certification is a plus but not required

 

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • A foundational understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, team-player attitude with the ability to adapt to change
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Experience with a project management system (Adobe Workfront) is preferred but not required.
