What we need:

The Product Marketing Manager leads the development of product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Wood and Laminate flooring portfolios. This role works closely with Product Management, Channel Marketing, and Sales to translate product innovation into compelling market stories that drive adoption across multiple sales channels.

 

The role is responsible for supporting new product introductions, developing sales enablement tools, and ensuring product strategy is clearly expressed across merchandising, training, and marketing materials.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop product positioning, messaging frameworks, and feature-benefit storytelling for Wood and Laminate product portfolios.

     

  • Partner with Product Management to support product strategy and new product introductions, including product naming, launch planning, and product storytelling.

     

  • Lead development of sales enablement tools including product training, battle cards, product comparison guides, and product selection resources.

     

  • Translate technical product attributes and specifications into clear value propositions tailored to different sales channels.

     

  • Conduct competitive research across displays, websites, merchandising, and sales materials to inform product positioning and portfolio strategy.

     

  • Support development of merchandising stories and retail presentation strategies in partnership with Channel Marketing teams.

     

  • Develop product launch toolkits that enable consistent execution across Specialty Retail, Builder & Multi-Family, Home Center, and Commercial channels.

     

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure product positioning aligns with retailer needs, builder requirements, and project-based selling environments.

     

  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and portfolio performance to inform product positioning and category strategy.

     

  • Support development of training materials and programs that build sales confidence and understanding of product performance and differentiation.

     

  • Manage cross-functional product launch timelines and marketing deliverables across Product Management, Channel Marketing, Sales, and Brand teams.

     

  • Contribute to category marketing strategy and portfolio planning initiatives.

 

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Good understanding of current marketing technologies and digital tools. 

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

 

What else?

 

  • Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
