What we need:

 

The Manager of Pricing is highly analytical and detail oriented. This role will involve overseeing junior analysts, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize pricing structures, enhance competitive positioning, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively to stakeholders.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Execute pricing strategy and framework, including product pricing, customer segmentation and pricing governance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on pricing analysis, data interpretation, and report generation.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively integrated into business operations.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market assessments to stay abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present pricing reports and insights to senior management, highlighting actionable recommendations and strategic opportunities.
  • Systems Optimization: Work with IT and data analytics teams to enhance pricing tools and systems for improved data collection and analysis.

 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.

  • Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals. 
  • Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact. 
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products, including BI applications.
