What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Manager of Finance that will oversee and manage business finance for Residential Sales. In charge with the objective of developing a more streamlined reports and propose and track a set of KPIs that will not only measure business evolution/performance but also give insights for the leadership on where opportunities are. The Residential Sales finance team is focused on connecting and support Sales organization with the finance department maintaining a strong alliance through its financial tools and being the guardian of the “one source of truth” for all the financial information presented.
What you’ll do:
- Be the BMF channel finance partner. Work closely with the Sales Senior Vice President supporting them with P&L management, business management, request for pricing, giving the right direction with the sole objective to improve profitability
- Manage Customer profitability reports, automatizing and giving more frequent visibility to Sales for our top accounts
- Find savings opportunities on Rebates, allowances, concessions, MA’s and Co-Ops through understanding the current situation and proposing a progressive change that will minimize sales impact
- Maintain current RFP process for Builders channel supporting all business development/sales to submit their deals through with the proper pricing, cost and OI
- Build and integrate National accounts proformas/RFP approval process including all the contracts negotiated with the customers aligned with current DoA and aligned with Bus CFOs into Arriba
- Act as a guardian of the “One Source of Truth” guaranteeing that all reports circulating with Sales are accurate and in line with the Clear certified reports
- Ensure systems are consistent and integrated with the business practices they support and identify key issues and weaknesses, providing solutions for improvement and managing the implementation of system enhancements
- Develop a set of automatized dashboards to track monthly indicator as Sales performance, BU’s meeting, P&Ls, Selling direct SG&A
What you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred)
- SAP, SAC, SSAS, Excel proficiency
- 7+ years of progressively responsible financial planning and analysis and accounting experience
What you’re good at:
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Systems: SAP, HFM, SSAS, PowerPivot, Power BI Dashboards, Sequel
- Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form
- Collecting and interpreting statistical and financial data
- Driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics
- Understanding business needs (VOC) and building user friendly and value-added BI reports
- Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals including ELT in written, oral and interpersonal form
- Honing your ability to persuade, market and sell new ideas based on culture, audience and business needs
- Providing a strong attention to detail and accuracy to daily tasks, as well as special projects
- Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
