Primary Objective:  In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.

Drive the future of how consumers shop the rapidly growing online Flooring category in this exciting role on Mohawk Flooring North America’s eCommerce team. This role is responsible for defining best in class category experience, accelerating eCommerce growth in the HomeCenter channel and managing + deepening retailer relationships. This role is also responsible for optimizing capabilities with a focus on Marketing Activation, Enhanced Content Management, Analytics, Category Management, and Emerging Customer Technologies. The individual will be required to heavily cross-collaborate with sales, marketing/brand, digital, creative, and supply chain teams to drive success.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Account Management – Own long-term planning and execution in the HomeCenter Channel while partnering closely with omnichannel sales teams to strengthen relationship with customer. Implement best practices and ensure growth targets and joint business planning objectives are met. Manage eCommerce operations team with support from Supply Chain team to achieve operational metrics.
  • Marketing Activation – Manage customer marketing activations and develop best practices to optimize total eCommerce channel return on investment. Analyze campaign and program past performance data to synthesize learnings applying to the business in the future. Partner closely with brand and omnichannel sales teams to support new initiatives (e.g., retailer promotions, innovation launches).
  • World-Class Content Management – Implement a best in class Product Detail Page content principles based on known conversion drivers and drive a consistent category shopping experience. Develop test and learns to create the most educational, compelling, and converting enhanced content. Collaborate with creative and brand teams to manage assets/copy in PIM, developing process to ensure accurate content collection going forward. Measure content health ongoing to optimize content accuracy, search ranking, and conversion.
  • Online Category Experience Excellence – Help define and deliver the optimal online flooring shopping experience through our retail partner sites. Leverage internal learnings to share and apply best practices within the HomeCenter Channel to grow the total category while establishing MHK as thought leaders in the space. 
  • Data Analytics & Category Management – Drive customer and online category success through regular analysis of KPIs and comparison to monthly and quarterly targets. Create recommendations to course correct areas of opportunity and accelerate + scale success. Support omnichannel sales team to identify opportunity areas between online and in-store mix. 

 

 

Experience & Skills Required:  

  • 4-5 years experience driving and delivering success in online or omnichannel environment
  • Account Management experience
  • FMCG/CPG eCommerce experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing; MBA Preferred
  • Strong analytical background
  • Ability to effectively direct, supervise, and manage a team of people
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Preferred experience with branding/marketing initiatives, especially technology-driven efforts
  • Experience leading content strategy and delivering results
  • Ability to build and scale capability + best practices across cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, presenting to customers executive audiences
  • Strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape and how to incorporate that knowledge to building brands online
