What we need:

The Internal Audit Associate is a newly established performer that assists with the completion of internal auditing work and provides consulting services to the company’s management and staff to ensure that organizational and professional ethical standards are maintained. This role will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit engagements.

What you’ll do:

• Perform assigned audits in accordance with the approved audit program.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with company policies by conducting interviews at all levels of personnel.
• Review and analyzes evidence to identify issues.
• Prepare reports and records that summarize data on assigned audits.
• Assist in the recommendations based on independent judgment of corrective action and suggests improvements to operations and reductions in cost.
• Ensure compliance with department annual professional development requirements through training and professional association memberships.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience desirable OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willing to actively pursue CPA, CIA, or CISA certification.
• Completion of Internal Auditor I class within 24 months of starting the position.

• Knowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles, practices, and concepts.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

• Up to 20% travel may be required.
