What we need:

 

The Financial Systems Analyst is an established performer that is responsible for supporting the maintenance and optimization of financial systems to support business operations and strategic initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the integrity of financial data, improving financial system functionality, and providing technical support and training to users.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Maintain financial systems to ensure accurate and timely financial data processing.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems to enhance efficiency and functionality.
  • Coordinate with IT and Finance teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of pricing data within the systems.
  • Monitor data flows between financial systems and other business applications.
  • Develop and maintain financial data models, reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Participate in the implementation of new financial systems or modules, including system configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Assist in planning and executing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure system performance meets business requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to financial system users.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials for system users.
  • Address user inquiries and troubleshoot system-related issues promptly.
  • Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other departments to redesign processes for better efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial systems management and data integrity.
  • Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure financial systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect financial data.
  • Assist in audits and reviews by providing necessary system and data documentation.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

 

 

 

What you’re good at:

 

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Experience with pricing software such as Pricefx, Vendavo, or PROS
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
