What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to support the Flooring North America segment. This role will focus on driving business success through reporting and support divisional leadership by providing regular and adhoc analysis of financial data.

What you’ll do:

• Work with business/functional teams to determine reporting requirements. 

• Partner with IT to develop and execute data warehouse strategies.

• Document existing and new data flow processes.

• Own a subset of our financial reporting suite (front and back-end).

• Create ad-hoc financial data analyses.

• Facilitate compliance with corporate, financial, regulatory, and other policies as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Finance.

• 0-2 years of data analytics experience (preferably within a financial organization/department).

• Prior experience in project management or with either SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, SQL, SAP Hana would be a nice plus.

• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism.
• Negotiating effectively with internal and external customers and using appropriate conflict resolution methods when necessary.
• Collecting and analyzing statistical and financial data.
• Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions.
