Objective: 

 

Reporting to the VP of Sales Operations, the Director of Training and Development for the Mohawk Group will design, plan and implement comprehensive training programs encompassing new hires, current team members and channel partners. They will collaborate with internal teams and leverage external resources to create, update and deliver training content on sales, product, systems and processes, leadership, design and other disciplines in the Commercial Flooring industry. This role will transition Mohawk Group’s training program to an LMS platform. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, plan and implement comprehensive training programs and content in conjunction with SMEs for sales, product, product launch, systems and processes, leadership, design, marketing, sustainability and other disciplines in Commercial Flooring.
  • Transition training programs to LMS. Design and manage LMS training metrics.
  • Support HR and Sales Management in needs assessment, performance measurement and other aspects of sales performance training and sales leadership training.
  • Deliver Taining programs as needed.
  • Team management, other responsibilities as part of Sales Operations Leadership Team.

 

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources organization Development, Education or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years sales training design and delivery experience.
  • Experience with LMS including content creation and delivery, target setting and monitoring metrics.
  • Previous sales experience and track record of sales success.
  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated competency in instructional design, needs assessment, performance measurement and evaluation, process improvement, team-building skills, and consulting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in training needs analysis, program and curriculum development, training delivery and training evaluation methods.
  • Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities and follow-through with timely execution of cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to translate business goals and objectives into realistic sales training curricula.
  • Ability and willingness to travel with the frequency required by the job.
  • Experience with LMS and CRM systems required.
  • Experience in effectively interacting with all levels of management, internal and external customers, and the ability to present information accurately and effectively to diverse audience.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships across divisions/functional areas.  Ability to gain agreement on issues and next steps from diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills.  Ability to formulate and manage action plans and timelines for multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Customer focus, coaching, and team building experience a strong plus.
