What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Customs Brokerage Supervisor to provide expertise on US import customs and compliance. This role will implement compliance standards and processes to help us win in the market.


What you’ll do:

  • Maintain knowledge of customs brokerage rules and regulations in areas such as customs classification, valuation, country of origin, record keeping, trade programs, and brokerage software.
  • Monitor work of all Mohawk customs import analysts to ensure compliance with all federal regulations.
  • Provide training and ensure continued competency of all Mohawk import analysts to ensure optimal level of customs service.
  • Maintain various online system files, including files and processes extend from our raw material vendor thru manufacturing, pricing, order entry, shipping and customs documentation for various Mohawk divisions and segments.
  • Addresses diverse range of inquiries related to NAFTA eligibility, documentation and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of other government agency requirements, such as USDA, FDA, EPA, Lacey Act, AD/CVD.


What you have:

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Customs Broker License
  • 8+ years of customs brokerage or internal customs entry and compliance experience including freight forwarding and/ or transportation experience.
  • Experience with ABI, HTS, ISA, ACE, NAFTA, GSP, CF7501, CF28, CF29
  • ACE Credentials
