What we need:

The Accounting Manager, Projects is a key contributor responsible for managing and coordinating accounting-focused projects using project management best practices and a strong understanding of accounting operations.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the primary liaison between Accounting, Finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, requirements, testing scripts, issue logs, and change‑management materials.
• Coordinate and support cross-functional teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring accuracy of accounting and reporting outputs.
• Support the Segment Controller to manage and execute additional accounting projects related to process improvement, system optimization, controls enhancement, and policy development.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across Accounting, Finance, Operations, and other business partners to ensure clear understanding of project scope, expectations, and milestones.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes, supporting standardization, automation, and system governance.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of governance structures, documentation, and standard operating procedures for OneStream and related accounting systems.
• Support internal controls by ensuring project deliverables align with SOX requirements, accounting policies, and audit expectations.
• Prepare and present project updates, metrics, and executive summaries for leadership.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 6-8 years of relevant project management, accounting operations, or financial systems experience, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation/reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion, BPC, Anaplan) preferred.
• Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile) a plus.

• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products and project management tools.
• Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team‑oriented, and able to lead through influence.
• High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness.
