What we need: 

The VP Sales is a senior leadership position responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of the sales channel by creating policies, driving innovation, and leading teams to achieve optimal performance to meet organizational sales goals. This role drives innovation, customer value, and market differentiation by guiding the direction of the sales channel. 

 

What you’ll do:  

• Define and execute the sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, margin performance, and market expansion across target industries and customer segments.
• Own overall sales performance against revenue, margin, and pipeline targets; establish KPIs and accountability across the sales organization.
• Lead and develop senior sales leaders and teams, including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and organizational scaling.
• Partner with executive leadership to align sales strategy with corporate objectives, financial plans, and go-to-market priorities.
• Drive disciplined sales execution through pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, deal governance, and operating cadence.
• Oversee customer segmentation, territory design, and account coverage models to maximize market penetration and sales effectiveness.
• Lead strategic customer relationships and executive-level negotiations for key accounts, complex deals, and long-term contracts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align demand generation, pricing strategy, solution positioning, and capacity planning.
• Establish and optimize sales processes, tools, CRM adoption, and enablement programs to improve productivity and consistency across the sales organization.
• Use data, analytics, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, competitive risks, and performance gaps; adjust strategy as needed.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
• Build and sustain a high-performance, customer-centric sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and long-term value creation.
• Perform other duties as needed. 

 

What you have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 
• 12+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. 
• 7+ years of management experience

• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. 
• High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

• This employee will be responsible for direct reports. 
• Travel is required approximately 50% of the time.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
