What we need: 

Mohawk is looking for an AP Vendor Relations Specialist who will be a point of contact for our internal and external customers regarding their invoice status.

What you’ll do: 

• Be the first person of contact for internal and external vendors on invoice payment status
• Handle all inquiries that come to the Accounts Payable Help Desk
• Respond to general inquiries from vendors, management, and team members regarding invoices or payments
• Interact with vendors and various internal groups to resolve both routine and non-routine problems concerning discrepant, incomplete, or conflicting invoices
• Advise on Tungsten invoice inquiries and issues
• Process invoices as needed to resolve issues related to AP Helpdesk inquiries

What you have: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline (preferred). 
• 3-5 years of job-related work experience
• Experience with Windows, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with data entry
• Proficiency with SAP

• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external customers 
• Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure to include whole numbers, decimals, and common fractions
• Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules 
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism 
• Redirecting skills to support new technologies while maintaining current commitments
