Your Role: 

As a Process Engineer,  you will be an established performer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

 

What You'll Do: 

 

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Participate on product and new process development teams, making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.
  • Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with identifying equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
  • Responsible for implementing and coordinating revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed.
  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
  • Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
  • Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or similiar field 
  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.

 

What You're Good At: 

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
