What we need:
The E-Commerce Analyst is an established performer that works to facilitate and support E-Commerce functions and projects. This role is responsible for analyzing e-commerce data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve the performance of our online platforms.
What you’ll do:
- Implement setups for all new e-commerce accounts via collaboration with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Compliance, and Credit teams.
- Provide SKU master and pricing to new customers, and review images and page placement for accuracy.
- Update availability dates in customer portals for those that allow backorders.
- Verify accuracy of product information on all customer sites and respond to customer product questions.
- Audit EDI feeds for accuracy and to ensure buffers prevent overselling.
- Audit customer websites for correct imagery and to maximize on numbers of allowed images.
- File claims for lost/damaged packages, follow up on returns, make determinations on replacement order causes, and research ways to eliminate miscellaneous charges and deductions.
- Analyze sales reports for pricing and margin opportunities.
- Research various metrics to determine trends and develop targeted promotion ideas.
- Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
- Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
- Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
- Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
- Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
- Analyze flash sale site histories to optimize sales opportunities based on inventory, pricing, margins, and calendar; source new .com customers.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Good understanding of current and trending digital technologies.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, and Premiere.
What you’re good at:
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
