 What We Need:  

The Supplier Quality Engineer is an established performer that provides support and assistance with supply chain operations through maintaining and implementing various software systems and creating various production/processing methods and controls to meet company goals and quality and cost efficiency standards. 

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Prepare test reports, system documents, and/or closing reports from assigned engineering projects of high complexity and implement and document potential process improvements for assigned projects. 
  • May lead introductions, fundamentals, and other training classes with InfinityQS, PAC, and other software systems. 
  • May lead Six Sigma projects to drive improvements in claims, off quality, waste, and operational efficiencies. 
  • Configure and implement various software solutions to create easy data entry and reporting as well as maintain all aspects of those systems. 
  • Work closely with all levels of management to develop action plans, implement and maintain process control standards, measure outcomes, and provide opportunities for improvement. 
  • Assess business needs and determine appropriate course of action in areas affecting compliance, quality, delivery, and financial outcomes. 
  • Recognized within team or departmental area as a subject matter expert and influences others on company policy and procedure to resolve a wide range of issues. 
  • Make processes and business decisions based on understanding of company and customer as well as industry practices, standards, and trends. Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. 
  • Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, requiring independent judgment, creativity, and ingenuity to solve. 
  • Perform high quality analysis consistently. 
  • Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results. 
  • Successfully lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements. 
  • Perform other duties as needed.  

 

 What You Have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education and/or experience.    
  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.    
  • Six Sigma knowledge or experience required with Green Belt Certification or above preferred. 

 

  • What You’re Good At: 
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.  
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
