What we need:
The Sr E-Commerce Specialist owns day-to-day marketplace execution across online channels. This is an operations role focused on catalog accuracy, portal administration, listing maintenance, inventory coordination, and process discipline. Most of the work happens inside seller, vendor, 3PL, and merchandising systems—not with customers. The successful hire is a high-performing operator who likes grinding through portals, data, and checklists and finishing work to a high standard.
What you'll do:
- Execute and maintain product listings across Amazon and other marketplaces, including titles, bullets, backend keywords, images, enhanced content, variations, and rich media.
- Own catalog data quality: create, input, audit, and correct product information for branded and private-label SKUs in PIM, seller portals, partner platforms, and 3PL systems.
- Process high-volume operational work in portals, and partner platforms, including content syndication, inventory updates, FBA/inbound workflows, listing health, and fee or policy issues.
- Monitor listing health, Buy Box eligibility, suppressed listings, policy flags, and order-defect metrics; resolve issues inside the portals and document root cause and fix.
- Coordinate inventory, inbound shipments, packaging, and channel compliance requirements with internal teams and 3PL / fulfillment partners.
- Build and maintain online promotions, coupons, and merchandising placements according to channel calendars and brand guidelines.
- Maintain accurate product feeds and content syndication; audit live pages against source data and correct discrepancies quickly.
- Track channel performance in Excel and reporting tools; flag operational issues such as stockouts, content gaps, pricing errors, and delayed shipments with recommended fixes.
- Document processes, checklists, and after-action notes so marketplace work is repeatable, auditable, and transferable.
- Stay current on marketplace policy, feed, image, and fulfillment rule changes that affect listing compliance and day-to-day execution.
- Partner with brand, supply chain, and e-commerce leadership on system and process improvements. This role is not a customer-facing sales assignment.
- Support Brand Registry, account permissions, and partner-platform administration as assigned, following established controls.
- Work as part of the e-commerce team on projects and assignments; escalate exceptions with clear facts and next steps.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 3–6 years of hands-on marketplace or e-commerce operations experience (Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central required). Wayfair, Walmart, Shopify admin, or 3PL portal experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience creating, auditing, and maintaining product listings and catalog data at volume. Account management or field/inside sales experience alone is not a substitute.
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data cleanup). PIM, ERP, feed tools, or marketplace software experience is a plus. Adobe Creative Suite is helpful for asset prep but is not the core of the role.
What you're good at:
- High attention to detail and genuine comfort with repetitive, accuracy-critical portal and catalog work.
- Process discipline: follows checklists, documents exceptions, and closes loops without being chased.
- Able to prioritize and manage time across multiple channels, SKUs, and urgent listing or inventory issues.
- High integrity and discretion with pricing, inventory, partner, and account data.
- Strong written communication for tickets, SOPs, and cross-functional updates. Practical problem solving inside systems and data rather than relationship selling.
- Flexible, adaptable team player who can handle changing marketplace rules and concurrent operational projects.
- Professional judgment and resourcefulness when procedures are incomplete; asks for clarification rather than guessing on catalog or compliance work.
