Responsibilities:

• Operate Roll-up machine by manually picking up rug and placing it into the rug clamp
• Operate AS400 computer system by creating I2O5 labels and slips, trouble shoot and make adjustment for differing materials
• Report issue with sew-in or rolls
• Check the BOM MENU to ensure that the product is being packaged per customer request
• Inspect product labels and damaged carpet or identify wrong carpet with label
• Bag and label rugs
• Tape and properly stack off rug
• Clean area at the end of every shift
• Must wear safety breakaway vest or safety approval color shirt
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor or crew

General Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Successful completion of on the job training programs.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient
• Prior experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others in the immediate  work unit and in related support areas.

• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by  moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and noise.

• Ability to complete Lift Truck Certification.
• Requires standing more than 2/3 of time.
• Requires regular lifting up to 50 pounds 800 - 1000 times per shift.
