- Lead cross-functional improvement projects related to safety, quality, uptime, waste reduction, throughput, cost reduction, and customer requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership readiness by influencing teams, supporting daily management routines, making sound decisions under pressure, and filling in for the Plant Manager in their absence.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- 2-4 years' relevant manufacturing experience OR equivalent combination of education, technical capability, and hands-on industrial experience.

- Demonstrates deep thinking, technical curiosity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to connect process inputs to safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, quality, R&D, suppliers, and leadership.
- Able to influence teams without direct authority and build credibility through floor presence, follow-through, technical strength, and practical problem solving.
- Demonstrates leadership potential, ownership mentality, sound judgment, and willingness to step into operational leadership responsibilities.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products and able to use manufacturing data, reports, and performance metrics to make informed decisions.
- This role requires frequent time on a high-traffic manufacturing production floor and close partnership with production teams across shifts.
- May be required to work a flexible schedule to support evening and night shifts, weekends, holidays, trials, startups, shutdowns, and critical production needs.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, heat, chemicals, adhesives, UV curing systems, and other conditions associated with manufacturing operations.
