Primary Objective: 
Operates equipment to cut, measure and / or wrap rolls of broadloom carpet or vinyl.
Major Function and Scope:
• Prepare rolls for processing (cut tape, load core, pull ticket)
• Process roll into AS400/Alcon system by using hand-held scan gun
• Operate cut table controls to start roll up process
• Inspect product for defects, damage, correct width, and color/style
• Utilize wrap station equipment to ensure protection of the product
• Print ticket and label role for identification purposes
• Observe operation of the equipment to detect malfunctions
• Replace worn blades and tape rolls as well as restock cores
• May be required to operate powered industrial trucks/equipment such as lift trucks, etc.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
Type of Experience and Knowledge:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Lift Truck Certification preferred
• Successful completion of all required on the job training
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
• May be required to use department specific database systems such as: AS400
• No prior experience required
• Experience as a cut table operator preferred
• Must pass a color vision test
Competencies: 
• Operate in a team-based environment
• Basic math skills
• Read tape measure
