What we need

The Director owns end-to-end delivery and project management of prioritized automation, analytics, and continuous-improvement initiatives; builds and sustains the BI, analytics, and reporting environment; designs KPIs and governance; and leads change management that guides teams toward new, digital-first ways of working across the Mohawk Supply Chain division.

In addition, the Director serves as the Supply Chain AI Liaison, reviewing, grouping, and prioritizing AI use cases submitted by business and IT leaders. The role identifies overlapping opportunities, assesses business value, and ensures alignment with enterprise AI strategy while avoiding duplication of effort. As a business domain expert, the Director promotes the reuse of shared tools, coaches teams on AI adoption, helps bridge skill gaps, and determines when initiatives require AI Innovation Board review for risk, funding, or strategic alignment.

This role also collaborates with delivery fusion teams to help oversee the successful execution of prioritized AI initiatives, ensuring outcomes align with expected value, enterprise standards, and adoption goals. Beyond enablement, the ideal leader is equal parts innovator, analyst, and change agent.

What you’ll do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of prioritized automation, analytics, and continuous-improvement initiatives, ensuring outcomes align with intended value, timelines, enterprise standards, and adoption goals.
  • Lead project planning alongside IT for execution and governance across the Supply Chain ecosystem (e.g., chatbots, agent assist, predictive analytics, RPA, workflow automation), partnering with IT, Data Science, and vendor teams to monitor AI performance, accuracy, and ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain Supply Chain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and insight engines; translate complex data into actionable recommendations; and drive adoption of BI tools and data literacy across the Supply Chain organization.
  • Partner with IT to support the design and execution of a Supply Chain continuous-improvement roadmap; identify process inefficiencies and pain points through data-driven analysis; facilitate root-cause and process-redesign workshops; and establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance to sustain improvements.
  • Lead Supply Chain transformation and change management, communicating goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels and serving as a strategic advisor alongside IT to Supply Chain leadership on innovation, technology, and operational strategy.
  • Review and manage AI use cases submitted through the Supply Chain AI intake process.
  • Identify overlapping or related AI opportunities across business units and consolidate them into scalable, enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Assess and articulate the business value, impact, and prioritization of AI use cases to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure AI initiatives align with enterprise AI strategy, architectural standards, and the adoption roadmap.
  • Prevent duplication of effort by promoting the reuse of shared AI platforms, tools, data assets, and capabilities.
  • Coach and mentor business and functional teams on responsible AI adoption, implementation best practices, and value realization.
  • Identify organizational AI skill gaps and support enablement through guidance, learning pathways, and collaboration models.
  • Evaluate AI use cases for risk, data sensitivity, and strategic significance, determining when escalation to the AI Innovation Board is required.
  • Support governance, funding discussions, and approval processes while avoiding unnecessary friction or delivery bottlenecks.
  • Document and maintain best practices, standards, procedures, quality objectives, and lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with delivery fusion teams to help oversee the successful execution of prioritized AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with intended outcomes, timelines, and value realization.
  • Act as an enterprise advocate for scalable, ethical, and value-driven AI enablement.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues or challenges that may arise.

What you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.
  • Experience implementing AI or automation solutions in a business environment, with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher); experience with customer journey mapping and Voice of Customer (VOC) programs; familiarity with CRM platforms; background in digital transformation or organizational change management.

What you’re good at

  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong AI literacy with the ability to coach, mentor, and enable stakeholders on responsible and effective AI adoption.
  • Identifying and helping close AI skill gaps through enablement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Influencing cross-functional partners and guiding outcomes without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
  • Collaborating effectively with delivery fusion teams to ensure prioritized AI initiatives are successfully executed and deliver intended outcomes.
  • Leading change with a focus on adoption, value realization, and sustainable business impact.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Multitasking, prioritizing, delegating, and managing time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Flexibility, adaptability to change, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience with customer journey mapping and VOC programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
