What we need:

 

The Integration Architect is a leading performer who will be responsible for delivery of solutions within a Global IT Center of Excellence (COE) team. The role will work to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems and works at a high technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage large cross-functional projects or processes.
  • Work with Global IT COE colleagues and project sponsors/customers to determine the long-term application architecture and strategy.
  • Provide leadership and development skills to efficiently develop code that can be leveraged across multiple sites. Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Leverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Analyze and provide technical advice and direction with regarding the interface/integrate of supported systems with the rest of the application portfolio; analyze how the supported applications can best serve business functions; recognizes the impact to the business of proposed applications changes and advises IT colleagues accordingly.
  • Creatively and strategically support key business objectives.
  • Document and maintain best practices, project standards, procedures, application, quality objectives and lessons learned; ensure that applications systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural/development standards and established methodologies and practices.
  • Perform high-level critical thinking, detailed information gathering, and application of business knowledge.
  • Generate fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas, and new approaches that create value in the market.
  • Proactively investigate and/or lead investigations of alternative approaches, technologies, or partnerships.
  • Collaborate with and may lead functional or cross-functional teams to generate solutions to complex problems.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

 

What you have:

 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.   
  • 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.   
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration technologies including SAP PO/PI, SAP CPI (Integration Suite), BizTalk, Azure Integration Services, and API Management platforms (Azure APIM, Apigee, Sentinet), with exposure to SLT and SSIS.
  • Strong technical expertise in integration patterns and protocols such as IDocs, RFCs, SOAP, REST, OData, JMS, along with API-led and event-driven architectures, and deep understanding of security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and SSL/TLS.. 
  • Proven experience integrating SAP with non-SAP and SaaS platforms, coupled with exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and secure cloud/DMZ integration architectures.
  • Own the enterprise integration architecture spanning SAP and cloud platforms.
  • Define integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, batch, APIs).
  • Establish middleware standards, canonical models, and reuse frameworks.
  • Drive cloud-first and API-led integration strategy aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Design complex integrations across S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, MDG, CRM, legacy, and SaaS systems.

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

 

What else?

  • Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
