Major Functions and Scope:

• Oversee the training and development of new hires
• Oversee the periodic training schedule for all hourly personnel in the quality control booth
• Create and update SOPs, OPLs, and SPIs
• Develop new processes to encourage growth of team members
• Scan and upload documents to the share drive
• Assist the manager and supervisor with data collection
• Work with research and development to ensure slabs are being properly stored
• Assist team members with the grading of slabs
• Help with the coverage of absentee employees during shifts
• Perform pre-load inspections for the RDC
• Verify grading accuracy using ticket sheets and Power BI
• Communicate with the RDC, mold line, and polish line regarding quality issues
• Organize, log and maintain master slabs to ensure they stay up to date and viable
• Create tension test schedules for each month
• Update tension test files with saved entries
• Verify and maintain tension test production
• Relabel and reclassify slabs pulled from the RDC
• Collaborate with QC manager and supervisor to develop and improve Quality Standards

Education and knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year previous manufacturing/quality control experience
