What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to plan and direct finance activities, with a focus on sales, margin and SG&A accountabilities. This role will also lead the budgetary target-setting process, develop detailed financial budgets, work with senior leadership to develop executive reporting and financial presentations, and prepare all-inclusive analyses showing company performance and future expectations.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and lead the financial planning process and environment and be accountable for all financial planning data streams.
- Develop financial planning policies, processes, procedures, and practices to streamline work to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively to create and implement processes and tools used for improved financial and strategic planning, annual budgets and quarterly & monthly forecasts
- Ensure systems are consistent and integrated with the business practices they support and identify key issues and weaknesses, providing solutions for improvement, and managing the implementation of system enhancements
- Drive further enhancement in process and system to support overall financial planning, expanding with new functionality, collecting input from financial leadership and working with our Information system partner to setup and further enhance planning tools.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- SAP and Hyperion proficiency, or similar
- 4-7+ years of progressively responsible financial planning and reporting experience. We are open to a Senior Financial Analyst looking for advancement.
- Enterprise level experience
- Manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong accounting skills
- Financial modeling skills
What you’re good at:
- Strong computer literacy in Business Intelligence, Planning and Reporting tools
- Communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Honing your ability to persuade, market and sell new ideas based on culture, audience and business needs
- Collecting and interpreting statistical and financial data for use in forecasting
- Providing a strong attention to detail and accuracy to daily tasks, as well as special projects
- Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
