What we need: 

 

Mohawk is looking for a Sr SAP Developer PI/PO who can do more for all Mohawk North America brands across residential, distributor, and builder multifamily divisions.  

 

This position consults with functional groups within the HR & IS organizations to communicate and clearly define business needs, contribute to the long-range system plans, and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs. This position assists the functional analysts in defining functional requirements and help with the planning of these. The SAP CoE Integration team will also act as a liaison between the functional consultants. 

 

 

What you’ll do: 

 

  • Delivery of the Technical Design Specifications for both backend and integration layer, based on the Functional Specifications. 

  •  Responsible for coordinating the delivery of the development objects as per Technical Design Specifications (in line with plan) in close collaboration with functional consultants. 

  •  Assist/Train functional consultants in writing detailed Functional Specifications. 

  •  Act as liaison between NetWeaver team, functional and integration consultants. 

  •  Implement integration strategies for SAP and legacy applications. 

  •  Assist with Unit testing and provide support during integration and user acceptance testing. 

  •  Responsible for urgent (blocking) corrections in the code (but following SAP transport rules) and implementing them. 

  •  Execute planned activities in the non-production environment as member of the SAP CoE NetWeaver team. 

  •  If time permits, code development with focus on the more complex programs where high level of interaction with functional consultants is required. 

  •  Stay current in the new SAP versions and direction for SAP S4, SAP PO/CPI, EDI, and with new features and tools to identify opportunities in this area; help contribute to the roadmap for future directions. 

 

 

What you have: 

  • Undergraduate degree in CS or Engineering discipline required 

  • Masters in Computer Science preferred 

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in a globally organized SAP team 

  • Expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, Webdynpro, BAPI, BADI, RFC, IDOC, BDC, and ALV programming are a must. Knowledge of workflow is a plus. 

  • Expertise in SAP PI/PO/CPI and proficient in different mapping styles (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping) is a must. 

  • Experience in migration from legacy systems (AS400, Tandem) to SAP is required. 

  • Experience integrating SAP with cloud based external systems using CPI.  

  • Basic exposure to MS Biztalk is preferred. 

  • Experience working on ECC 6.0 and S4 with an understanding of the enhancement framework 

  • Experience developing in the Fl, CO, MM, SD, IM Modules. FI-CA and FSCM are a plus. 

  • Experience working with BRF+, is a plus.

  • Participating in the delivery of the project and minor/major releases 

  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis and render good decisions to resolve problems, maintain safety, and ensure adherence to the Corporate Code of Conduct. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of aiding in prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks 

  • Knowledge of software development standards, processes, and QA practices is a plus
