The Architectural Rep Internal Support Increases commercial sales in designated sales territory by supporting Arch Reps that call on Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors and National Accounts for the purpose of obtaining proprietary specifications for Daltile.


Major Functions

  • Supports Arch Reps in a specific region calling on regular and prospective customers including Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors and National Accounts. Requiring sample entry & large project tracking through Sales Force for all accounts requested by Arch Rep team.
  • Identifies and establishes relationships with Arch Rep team to support architectural and design firm samples/tracking follow up through Sample Express, pricing requests, e-blasts & value engineer/crossover alternates.
  • Travel will not be a part of assigned duties unless related to emergency sample couriers or errands related to an industry event.
  • Maintains record of marketing material in architectural libraries in Sales Force using tasks.
  • Prospects new and maintains existing National Accounts through email & the National Account database. Follows up and reports information quarterly on product forecast and construction schedules.
  • Organizing & assisting in new product blitzes to C&D ranked customers.
  • Assisting in building new product or technical power point presentation programs as well as templates for weekly e-blasts.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge and expertise of all Daltile/Marazzi/AO/Ragno products, allied products, vendor products and installation methods.
  • Organizes, attends & maintains calendar invites for monthly Market Strategy Meetings & bi-weekly Large Project Tracking Meetings. Opportunity information is to be updated utilizing Sales Force to ensure we are capturing all pertinent project details and progress of the opportunity as well as closing the opportunity once won, lost or abandoned.
  • Feeds leads through Construct Connect Insight to Arch Rep team once specifier is awarded job.
  • Adheres to all regulatory guidelines and company policy as it relates to safety and our guiding principles. 
  • Supports Regional Commercial Sales Manager with all other assigned duties as required. 


Knowledge, Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience

Two or more years of inside sales or industry experience.

Self-Starter, strong communication skills, exercises independent judgment and initiative.  Basic computer skills in Excel, Power Point, CRM & leads database.
