Dal-Tile is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Sales that will plan, direct, and manage the sales activities for Dal-Tile’s Commercial Sales Program. Your goal will be to develop and execute sales strategies that will achieve maximum sales volumes and profit potentials. You will direct the sales activities for the Commercial Sales Managers and motivate the sales organization as a whole.  Providing clear direction and setting goals for the teams is integral to the success of this position.  This position interacts with the President of Dal-Tile regularly and will be responsible for reporting business leaders on sales targets and achievements.

This role is a blend of strategy, sales, and leadership.  You will have the opportunity to lead the Commercial Sales Managers and Architectural Sales Representatives and guide them to achieve and surpass their targets. Control of the operational budget for Commercial Sales Team will also be a key responsibility of this position. You will analyze budgets and spending trends to improve resource allocation to ensure ROI is maximized.  You will have the opportunity to be the Dal-Tile representative for some of the largest accounts and trade unions in Dal-Tile’s portfolio of business. 


Education & Knowledge:

  • Undergraduate degree required, major in Business or Marketing preferred


  • 8+ years of experience in sales and management in the construction materials industry
  • Previous building materials experience required, tile preferred


  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focus approach to sales and people management
  • Demonstrated ability to remain organized while managing the competing priorities of the organization
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • CRM experience, SalesForce preferred
  • Microsoft Office
