Dal-Tile is seeking a Director of Finance.  As the Director of Finance the responsible of the plans and directs finance/accounting activities in support of assigned business unit.

• Develops and presents 3-year strategic plan to include sales, operating profit, headcount, capital expenditures, and other financial measures.  
• Develops and implements annual operating plan and tracks results to plan, including sales, operating profit, and capital.
• Establishes measurement criteria in conjunction with operations management for the Management Incentive Plan (MIP). 
• Prepares annual audit reports as needed.
• Oversees the calculation of commissions and quarterly bonus payments.
• Oversees period close of financial records including preparation and dissemination of financial reports.
• Responsible for SBU’s balance sheet accuracy and completeness.
• Manages the calculation of customer rebates.
• Manages the preparation and reporting of sales and margin analysis for assigned business unit for incorporation into the monthly financial report.
• Prepares current forecast of annual performance.
• Identifies opportunities for reducing cost or improving efficiencies in coordination with operations management.
• Analyzes performance of key business segments to ensure optimal performance throughout the SBU.
• Provides accounting and analysis of M & P expense for assigned business unit.
• Prepares various ad hoc reports and provides detailed analysis of data as requested by operations management.
• Ensures financial integrity that includes compliance with SOX and GAAP.
• Coaches and trains staff as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.  MBA and professional certification highly preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience. Previous management and manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong strategic planning and analytical skills. Advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to influence top management. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
