Dal-Tile marketing team is seeking an Assistant Marketing Project Manager to join our team.  The Assistant Marketing Project Manager provides support to the Senior Marketing Manager and Dal-Tile’s retail sales channel, largely through home centers. This position manages the creation, organization, execution and supervision of omnichannel marketing strategies and product launches to promote products and increase sales within the home center channel.

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Marketing Project Manager needs experience in marketing, developing, and managing branded consumer goods. This includes executing strategic business plans, supporting digital strategies, improving market share and revenue.  This position is in Dallas, TX corporate office. 


  • Coordinates across marketing and sales teams to drive growth and maximize impact of all initiatives via merchandising, promotions, in-store programs, packaging, public relations events, digital programs and social media.
  • Accountable for development of all consumer touch points at retail including sampling, boards, end-cap and in-bay merchandising, collateral materials and messaging.
  • Works closely with advertising agency to develop creative strategies and collateral.
  • Leads various marketing projects as assigned and delivers results with a high level of quality under limited supervision.
  • Establishes strong communication and partnering relationships between home center marketing and home center sales teams to facilitate smooth and effective operations.
  • Monitors and reports progress of projects on a regular basis either through established meetings or via email updates to internal and external partners.
  • Works collaboratively with photo studio in the conception of room scene photography and product detail images.
  • Responsible for organizing and managing product information online to ensure each item is accurate and brand relevant to optimize sales.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve the .com presence for Dal-Tile brands within their dedicated retail accounts.
  • Oversees creative packaging development with the Packaging Specialist including die line and carton artwork approvals for assigned businesses.
  • Manages assigned project budgets.
  • Performs other duties as required. 


  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in marketing supporting product launches.
  • Previous experience in developing product literature, collateral materials, sales promotions, and in-store merchandising is preferred.
  • Knowledge of flooring industry preferred.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and follow through.
  • Collaboration and ability to work within a team.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Power Point and Excel.  Project management software experience a plus.
