We’re looking for a talented, creative and energetic Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in Dallas, Texas.  The Assistant Marketing Manager  will closely collaborate and work with the Brand Marketing Manager and other business leaders to develop new initiatives in support of Channel Strategies for the Daltile brand segments (Commercial / Builder / Etc).


Primary Objective:

  • The day-to-day planning and execution of tactical activities and projects in support of the company’s channel marketing strategy.



  • Works under the direction of the Brand Marketing Manager to help reach the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
  • Lead segment projects for the Marketing Team related to the Builder and Commercial Channels with cross functional teams based on target audience.
  • Create, execute, proof and edit a variety of marketing materials including digital, print, videography, special marketing, promotional tools, templates, presentations, sampling tools, labels, installation instructions, case studies, installation photography purchases, tradeshow graphics, event signage, etc.
  • Manage requests from vendors, sales reps and internal clients.
    • Creation of collateral and sell in kits and other items for sales teams (coordinate with sales, based on channels)
  • Accountable for accuracy of all marketing materials.
    • Provides accurate & timely proofing, fact-checking, copy-writing/editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of all marketing materials.
  • Develop timelines / tracking, action plans and associated communication documents for all projects and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations & benchmarks with team members and other stakeholders / departments.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
    • Prepare weekly project status reports on projects based on current and active projects for supervisor.
  • Enters marketing and product data into Marketing Team spreadsheets
  • Research market trends, creative / style trends, demographics and other relevant information that helps leaders develop marketing plans.
  • Analyses surveys, polls and other market research to look for patterns and trends to spreadsheets and helps to create data and reports for marketing manager and other brand leaders.
  • Manages purchasing processes through Marketing Services and outside vendors with regards to timely bid requests, purchase requests and purchase orders.



  • At least two years of experience in the Marketing field, preferably in the flooring industry
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit Preferred
  • Knowledge of Workfront Preferred
  • Strong Creative Eye a Plus!
  • Availability to travel for business if needed
  • Able to work independently 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Team Player
