Dal-Tile is currently seeking an expert Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a veteran Material Handler, we need someone that is ready to operate all equipment utilized in the distribution center like the Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.

Primary Objective 

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Major Function and Scope
• Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area
• Operates order picker equipment or stand-up forklift to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required 

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator
• 3 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience.
