Dal-Tile is currently seeking an expert Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a veteran Material Handler, we need someone that is ready to operate all equipment utilized in the distribution center such as the Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.

- Monday - Friday
- 12:00PM-8:30PM
Pay Rate: $24.94
Primary Objective
- Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
Major Function and Scope
- Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
- Operates order picker equipment or stand-up forklift to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
- Utilizes warehouse systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
- Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
- 3 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift order picker equipment experience.

- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
- Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
- Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.
- The associate may lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- The aver number of picks per hour is 25 and the average weight is between 40-70 lbs with heavier picks (50-70 lbs) being 65% of the work shift and lighter weight items (20-40 lbs) being 35% of the work shift.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
- The noise level is usually loud.
