Location: Florence, AL Manufacturing Plant - In-Person Internship - May 19th - August 15th

Dal-Tile is currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals for our Summer Internship Program. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to innovative projects in the tile manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and updating Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

• Support document control efforts, ensuring safety documents, policies, and procedures are well-organized and up to date.

• Assist in reviewing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Aerial Work Platforms (AWP).

• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) audits, supporting assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Work closely with the safety team to identify opportunities for improving workplace safety and hazard prevention.

• Assist in compiling reports and presenting findings on safety assessments.

• Support safety training initiatives by preparing materials and assisting with training sessions.
   

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize documents effectively.

• Interest in workplace safety, hazard assessments, and compliance.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the safety team.
