POLISHING LINE OPERATOR II – NIGHT SHIFT

PAY:  $17.35 per hour  2nd shift differential $0.20, 3rd shift differential 

 $.50

Monday - Friday

The polish line operator ensures quality materials are produced in a timely manner to meet production needs.   

• Changes polishing pads when pads are damaged or depleted.

• Measures and records tile sizes.
• Inspects tile for damage or for conformity to specifications. 

• Documents quality of materials.

• Maintains communication with supervisor to report quality issues. 

• Moves materials or products to or from conveyor. 
• Dislodges jams by hand. 

• Records production quantities. 
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.  3 years previous manufacturing/production experience.   Good oral and written communications skills.  Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.  Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
