Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Production Associate I to join our TEAM! As the Production Associate I we need someone who can take charge of ensuing correct quality control of materials produced such as inspecting, buffing, and counting selected units of ceramic tile. 

Primary Objective 

Performs a variety of duties including inspecting, buffing, and counting selected units of ceramic tile. 

Major Function and Scope 

Inspects tile for cracks and variations of thickness (lamination) in Tunnel Manufacturing Operation. 

Buffs burs off tile. 

Places tile on trays and counts units of tile. 

Follows standard operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified. 

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. 

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized. 

Performs other related duties as required 

Experience and Knowledge Required 

High school diploma or equivalent experience.  

1 year previous manufacturing/production experience preferred. 

Competencies 

Good oral and written communications skills.  Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.  Ability to understand and speak basic English.
