QUARTZ - PROCESS TECHNICIAN (NIGHTS - C SHIFT)

The process technician will work directly with the shift supervisor with a focus on quality process controls. The supervisor should depend on this person to ensure that parameters, paperwork, and other quality related details are being followed.

  Responsibilities

• Audit paperwork throughout shift to ensure it is being filled out thoroughly and properly
• Make sure paperwork is scanned in to shared drive
• Verify that parameters are entered correctly, and document any changes during production
• Work directly with Process engineers to gather data for tests and quality improvements
• Review SOP’s with Process engineers and Process managers for accuracy
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Identify and report quality defects during production as well as with finished goods, and assist in reducing those defects
• Monitor the production process and report any discrepancies to Supervisors and Process Engineers
• Help troubleshoot process-related issues, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions
• Work with team members to maintain a clean and safe production area
• Ensure all personnel adhere to safety standards
• Use tools such as Power BI and Historian to look at production and quality data
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Look at hot shots in QC and troubleshoot quality issues that may arrive
• Ensure start up checklists are done properly before a new production run starts
• Create and perform line inspections for position to audit machines
• Help supervisor cover breaks on the line if necessary
• Help communicate and set up from one shift to the other
