Job Objective:

The Maintenance Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that works to help solve problems of limited complexity and scope. This role will assist in the coordination and execution of Maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position: 

· Support the Maintenance department by helping to schedule tasks, manage resources, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

· Receive, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders based on urgency, equipment availability, and skill levels of maintenance technicians.

· Assist in creating maintenance schedules to ensure that preventive maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections are conducted in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

· Coordinate with maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to allocate necessary resources, such as labor, tools, and parts, for maintenance tasks.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and repairs.

· Update maintenance logs and databases.

· Actively participate in group activities and collaborates with team.

· Assist in conducting routine equipment inspections to identify potential issues and recommend maintenance actions.

· Provide basic analysis and applies knowledge from experience or standard procedure to solve problems.

· Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education: 

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

· 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Competencies: 

· Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.

· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

· The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.

· May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

· The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

· The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
