Dal-Tile is seeking an on-site Recruiter to support our Manufacturing (MFG) and Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations in Dickson, TN. This position plays a key role in ensuring our 24/7 manufacturing and distribution operations are staffed with reliable, high-performing talent.
This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing and community engagement. The Recruiter will actively build local talent pipelines by partnering with technical schools, workforce development programs, community organizations, and local hiring events.
The Recruiter will partner closely with plant leadership, hiring managers, and Human Resources to develop recruiting strategies, identify strong candidates, and ensure a positive hiring experience for all applicants.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Community Engagement
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies focused on local workforce communities, technical schools, and trade programs
- Represent Dal-Tile at local job fairs, hiring events, workforce development initiatives, and community organizations
- Build relationships with technical schools, trade programs, and workforce development partners to create ongoing talent pipelines
- Promote Dal-Tile as an employer of choice in the Dickson community
- Engage passive candidates through networking, referrals, and community outreach efforts
- Support long-term recruiting initiatives to strengthen the local candidate pipeline
Recruiting & Candidate Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and fit for open positions
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Provide timely communication and updates to candidates throughout the hiring process
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Partner closely with plant leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
- Develop recruiting strategies to support hourly manufacturing and distribution roles
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on candidate evaluation and interview best practices
Recruiting Operations
- Maintain candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Utilize multiple sourcing tools including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events
- Coordinate candidate travel arrangements when necessary (flights, hotels, etc.)
- Support recruiting initiatives and projects that improve recruiting efficiency and hiring outcomes
- Maintain relationships with external recruiting partners when applicable
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in employer branding activities to promote Dal-Tile as an employer of choice
- Support workforce planning and recruiting initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of recruiting experience preferred
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, distribution, or hourly workforce roles is a plus
- Experience sourcing candidates through community engagement, job fairs, or workforce partnerships preferred
