The Showroom Design Specialist is an established performer who works to develop and execute compelling showroom layouts that enhance brand experience and support sales objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into immersive, consumer-friendly environments.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Supports the design of all consumer-focused spaces, including showrooms, sales centers, etc., to align with brand guidelines and seasonal initiatives.
- Partners with product, marketing, sales teams, real estate, and construction to ensure showrooms reflect strategic priorities.
- Assist in the preparation of floor plans, elevations, and renderings using design software to visualize showroom concepts.
- Helps manage installation timelines and vendor coordination to ensure projects are executed on schedule.
- Source materials, furnishings, signage, and fixtures that reflect brand identity and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintains an up-to-date library of design standards, showroom specifications, and visual merchandising assets.
- Assist with nationwide rollouts of merchandising to our sales teams. This includes drawings, product specifications, etc.
- Gathers feedback from field teams to assess the effectiveness of design layouts and recommend improvements.
- Travels as needed to support showroom rollouts, updates, or remodels.
- Stays informed on interior design trends, retail environments, and industry best practices.
- Works on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Performs accurate analyses, conducts research, and draws meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Draws from prior experience, interprets facts, and identifies incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
- Uses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
- Effectively applies functional, process, and procedural or technical imagination to address business challenges.
- Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
- Influences others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- AutoCAD proficiency required.
Competencies:
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles, industry practices, and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of products.
