The Sr National Accounts Specialist is a high-performing contributor who serves as a National Accounts Multi-Family subject matter expert and works to facilitate and support customer relations, projects, and other initiatives of the National Accounts sales function. This role will be responsible for partnering with the National Account sales team to drive business relationships with customers and engage in projects to improve the company’s position with accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Primary contact for Multifamily National Account contractor customers to provide overall day-to-day.
- Contractor list to be provided by RVP’s as approved to be managed nationally.
- Manage timing of container direct deliveries to customer AND jobsite for LVF to deliver in phases as customer needs to drive customer satisfaction.
- Manage timing of Truckload direct deliveries to customer AND jobsite for Tile and Sundries to deliver in phases as customer needs to drive customer satisfaction.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of Multi-Family national accounts, providing solutions to drive customer satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Credit, etc., as the subject matter expert for assigned National Accounts to resolve issues including delivery discrepancies, delinquencies, inventory issues, etc.
- Work with the National Account sales team to improve strategy for account expectations, specifications, pricing, inventory availability, etc.
- Work directly with the sales team to develop and implement strategic plans for the National Accounts function.
- Proactively monitor and assess accounts for program and process improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and account reports, and provide recommendations to leadership to drive informed account decisions.
- Assist with preparing sales presentations used by National Accounts sales teams.
- Maintain, update, and improve system functionality to ensure up-to-date customer information.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education with Multi-Family experience.
- In-store Sales Service Center operations and SSC store systems proficiency required
- Experience in SAP preferred.
- Experience in Multi-Family sales support and working relationships with current Multi-Family customers is highly preferred.
