Position Title: SR SAP Security Analyst

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, test, and implement composite and single roles based on project and continues support needs, in tight collaboration with the EMEA (European, Mid-East, and Africa)/Mohawk counterpart.
- Investigate and resolve SAP security problems.
- Provide off-hour support as needed.
- Guard the SoD (Segregation of Duty) rules that apply to the security setup and role assignment to users.
- Write documentation and procedures according to predefined standards.
- Conduct and aid in security research with recommendations for action on IT-related topics: upgrades, systems, methodologies, and software.
- Perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels.
- Analyze customers’ business requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
- Identify and understand end users’ technical SAP requirements.
- Build and maintain strong end user relationships as single point-of-contact for all SAP (System Application Products) and IT-related matters.
- Document and analyze software and/or system functional requirements from key stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and timelines to successfully deploy solutions.
- Install and configure SAP (System Application Products) to meet each client’s individual requirements.
- Assist with data conversion.
- Provide end-user training and on-going customer support.
- Liaise with key business users to translate business requirements into SAP requirements.
- Liaise with all aspects of product procurement, testing, and implementation.
- Work with SAP developers to custom-make SAP Modules to meet the business requirements of buy/sell operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Process Engineering, or a directly related field of study with a focus in engineering, plus the following experience:
- 10 years of experience in a globally organized SAP team;
- 10 years of combined experience to include each of the following SAP Enterprise Central Component, S/4 HANA, and Integrated Business Planning modules: Material Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), Master Data Management (MDM), and Business Warehouse (BW);
- 5 years of technical experience in SAP security; and
- 3 years of experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
- Requires up to 10% international and domestic travel to other company worksite locations.
- Work from home available. Must reside within commuting distance from employer’s Dallas, TX office.
