We’re looking for a talented, creative, and energetic Sr. Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in Dallas, Texas. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will closely collaborate and work with the Marketing Manager and other business leaders to support our home centers retail channel.

 

This position has broad exposure to functional activities across multiple brands and customers. The role ensures all home center marketing initiatives align with brand positioning and manages deliverables, ensuring flawless execution of marketing strategies, initiatives, and campaigns.

 

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, with tremendous attention to detail, is an effective project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Develop marketing materials for various platforms.
  • Leads presentation creation for home centers and other special marketing projects.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute project plans based on the defined home centers strategy.
  • Participate in the development and communication of product strategy and the introduction of new products with various departments and customers.
  • Support customer accounts with product launches and training activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis including product line forecasts, inventory planning, pricing, and gross margin analysis, and manage project budgets to meet company goals.
  • Assists with the development and consistent management of the yearly marketing financial forecast.
  • Analyze market data and identify KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Drive projects with Marketing Services to develop boards and ensure on-time in-store execution.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns as part of the strategic annual plan to expand market share and pursue growth targets.
  • Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams.
  • Create and update home centers collateral, including merchandising tools (displays, signage, packaging), lifestyle imagery, labels, digital content, and presentations.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Sales, Graphics, Photo Studio, and Product teams to ensure marketing materials are accurate.
  • Provide proofing, fact-checking, copywriting, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of marketing materials.
  • Assist with new-product photography and video content to align with brand and retailer standards.
  • Manage communication and coordination with third-party agencies to support creative concepting and development of marketing deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager in recommending and developing content and targeted digital marketing tools in support of assigned projects and customers.
  • Assist with onsite and offsite digital campaign strategy and monitor performance throughout the year.
  • Help manage and strategize product sales tools and campaigns to support product launches.
  • Organize and manage online assets for specific accounts to optimize sales and identify areas of improvement.
  • Influence others on company policy and procedure to resolve a wide range of issues.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert, coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Make process and business decisions based on understanding of company, customer, and industry practices.
  • Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
  • Lead after-action reviews to identify, document, and share lessons learned.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Smartsheet, Monday.com, and Adobe Workfront Preferred.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
