Job Objective:
The Sr Manager Distribution is a senior-level manager instrumental in ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of goods to meet customer demand. This role will oversee aspects of the distribution process, from order fulfillment to logistics coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
• Support Distribution network through development of business plans and periodic reporting to increase division profitability.
• Oversee activities for warehousing locations.
• Establish operational procedures to ensure consistency, accurate and timely inventory disposition, warehouse, and distribution operations.
• Partner with leadership in division’s annual budget process and related forecasting through evaluation of initiatives to drive financial performance.
• Recommend facility expansions, improvements, and efficiencies to operation.
• Promote and instill a safety culture, ensuring safety, OSHA and DOT standards are followed.
• Set clear expectations for team members; solicit and deliver feedback.
• Continue to contribute to ongoing function work while overseeing the delivery of multiple projects.
• Frequently interact with functional peer groups, other company divisions, or customers of the company.
• Partner with Distribution management to support business decisions, identify and communicate opportunities, and provide financial and data support to stakeholders.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate new business/program opportunities.
• Develop an effective system for analyzing operating performance against planned goals and objectives.
• Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 8-10 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 3-5 years of management experience.

• High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
