This Sr Director ERP role provides people and delivery leadership for ERP and related business platforms supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Transportation and Logistics, Order to Cash, and Warehouse Management. The role partners with business and technology leaders to align priorities, shape a multi-year roadmap, and lead teams and strategic partners through execution, adoption, and continuous improvement. Success in this position is measured by business value delivered, reliable execution, strong stakeholder partnership, and the development of high-performing teams that deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Partners with executive and functional leaders to define priorities, align the ERP and supporting platforms roadmap to business outcomes, and establish clear ownership, sequencing, and delivery expectations across teams.
- Partners with the Dal-Tile Business Architect and technical leaders to ensure architecture, integrations, and data design decisions support business priorities, operational resilience, and long-term scalability.
- Leads application delivery teams and partners to establish reliable, predictable delivery practices, including clear commitments, capacity planning, quality expectations, and accountability for outcomes.
- Partners with functional leaders to clarify business needs, prioritize demand, resolve tradeoffs, and deliver ERP solutions that create measurable operational and financial value.
- Directs major SAP programs and releases, including S/4HANA updates and template rollouts, by setting clear delivery expectations, managing risks and dependencies, ensuring stakeholder readiness, and driving on-time, on-budget adoption.
- Establishes governance, standards, and controls that clarify decision rights, improve delivery discipline, manage change effectively, protect data quality, and meet information security requirements.
- Develops and manages application management services agreements and vendor relationships to ensure clear service expectations, accountable performance, effective issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Defines KPIs and dashboards that track delivery performance, adoption, operational stability, process effectiveness, and business outcomes; uses insights to drive accountability and corrective action.
- Optimizes total cost of ownership through platform rationalization, licensing strategy, and vendor negotiations.
- Champions best practices in process design and harmonization across impacted business functions.
- Builds, coaches, and retains a high-performing team; develops succession plans and career paths.
- Accountable for team leadership of cutover, hyper care, and stabilization planning across technology, business, and partner teams to protect operations, support adoption, resolve issues quickly, and minimize business disruption.
- Serves as executive liaison with SAP and strategic partners to influence product direction and unlock co-innovation opportunities.
- Collaborates with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals.
- Provides visionary leadership to drive growth and innovation.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansions.
- Leads initiatives to enhance the company's market presence and competitiveness as well as strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness applying an AI and automation-first mentality.
- Fosters a collaborative, high accountability and high-performance culture in which technology team members feel valued and understand how their work contributes to the organization’s overall success.
- Identifies and assesses risks to the organization’s health; applies risk mitigation strategies and communicates approaches to executive leaders for response and action.
- Implements effective risk management strategies; emphasizes a “build with security in mind” design approach.
- Drives a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Builds and maintains trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders; delivers high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 15+ years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 10+ years of management experience.
Competencies:
- Clear expertise as a strategic leader.
- Experience with organizational design for transformational technology change.
- Experience with deploying and maintaining SAP-centric technology ecosystems.
- Experience with Salesforce, pricing models and EDI solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of business processes for Finance, Supply Chain, Order to Cash and Warehouse Mgmt highly valued.
- Requires the ability to influence others in sensitive situations while preserving relationships.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
