The Sitecore Developer will provide development skills to efficiently develop code that can be leveraged across multiple sites. Collaborate on technical design sessions providing input on best practices and build applications that are efficient, secure, scalable, and offer a high-quality user experience.

 

  • Design, develop and implement websites and applications using Sitecore CMS and other web technologies.
  • Work closely with the Sitecore Architect to execute business critical projects from our strategic roadmap and involve in different stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to implement software solutions.
  • Work closely with other developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and project managers of the digital team to deliver high-quality solutions and fully integrate the user experience across multiple platforms.
  • Build scalable and reusable Sitecore components for multi-brand initiatives with Sitecore Experience

Accelerator (SXA).

  • Deliver code that can be leveraged across multiple sites and tenants, focusing on reuse rather than

rebuilding.

  • Develop new templates and layout new web page designs using responsive and reusable renderings in content management system for the organization’s various websites.
  • Ensure and advise on the technical feasibility of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) designs.
  • Develop APIs for Sitecore to interact with other systems, including external data sources and web services.
  • Styling sites and synchronize changes using Creative Exchange that works with gulp tasks to make

changes to themes and other content.

  • Support on critical environment or application issues and execute tasks on time and within committed

timeframes.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

Required Experience and Education: Describe the education, years of experience, and any certifications necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.     
  • 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.     
  • 4+ years of experience developing responsive websites or applications using page templates, layouts and renderings in content management systems.
  • 4+ years’ experience with Sitecore 9+ and C# /.NET preferred
  • Proficient in responsive web design best practices.
  • High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite software - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • 4 years of experience in developing wireframes and working with any HTML editor (like Dreamweaver), HTML5, Photoshop, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3).
  • jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, ASP .NET, Content Management Systems, Web Analytics Experience and PHP preferred.
  • Experience in Sitecore SXA, MVC with Razor, JQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, SASS/CSS, ASP .Net, Content Management Systems, Gulp, Visual Studio 2017+ and SQL server preferred
  • Experience in following HELIX principles and Coveo or SOLR search preferred
  • Experience in microservice architecture, Akamai, Azure devops or JIRA preferred

 

  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
