JJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead end-to-end SAP Sales and Distribution / Order-to-Cash (SD/OTC) process design, including order management, pricing, shipping, billing, and accounts receivable.
2. Configure SAP SD module components, such as sales order types, item categories, schedule lines, pricing procedures, condition techniques, and copy control.
3. Optimize Available-to-Promise (ATP) logic for real-time availability checks, considering stock levels, planned receipts, and lead times to confirm delivery dates.
4. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize ATP logic for real-time availability across warehouses.
5. Troubleshoot integration issues between SD billing and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO) for accurate account determination and revenue posting.
6. Troubleshoot tax integration issues with Vertex.
7. Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces for OTC processes such as inbound sales orders (e.g., EDI 850) and outbound invoices (e.g., EDI 810).
8. Troubleshoot EDI issues, including mapping errors, IDoc failures (e.g., ORDERS, INVOIC).
9. Collaborate with middleware teams (e.g., Biztalk) to resolve connectivity issues with trading partners.
10. Validate EDI data accuracy for orders, invoices, and advance shipping notifications (ASN) to ensure compliance with partner requirements.
11. Support testing and onboarding of new EDI partners, ensuring seamless integration with SAP SD.
12. Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and map solutions to client needs.
13. Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating with FI/CO, Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM) consultants to ensure seamless
module integration.
14. Partner with business stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and supply chain teams, to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions.
15. Provide training and support to end-users and power users on SAP SD/OTC processes.
16. Analyze and resolve complex issues in OTC workflows, including pricing errors, billing discrepancies, and ATP-related delivery delays.
17. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, such as automating order processing or optimizing ATP calculations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field of study.
- Requires SAP Certified - SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Private Edition - Sales Certification.
- Requires the following experience:
- 8 years of progressively responsible and related hands-on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD)/Order to Cash (OTC).
- 8 years of experience in each of the following: SAP Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM/WM), and Transportation Management (TM).
- 6 years of experience in ERP systems to include the following: system development life cycle, application development dynamics, and IT best practices.
- 6 years of experience with SAP ECC 6.
- 2 years of experience with SAP S4/HANA 2021 or newer.
- 2 years of experience directly participating as an OTC Consultant in a single ECC to S4/HANA migration.
- 2 years of technical SAP experience in each of the following: Intermediate Document (IDOC), batch input, Legacy Systems Migration Workbench (LSMW), job scheduling, and Online Service System (OSS) note implementation.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
- Requires less than 10% domestic travel to company offices, client locations, third-party worksites, and conferences.
- Must reside within commuting distance from the employer’s Dallas, TX office. Various unanticipated locations.
