Position: People Systems Analyst
Location: Dallas, Texas (This is NOT a remote position)

 

The People Systems Analyst is an established performer responsible for facilitating and supporting human resources and technology functions. This role focuses on optimizing HR systems and processes by analyzing, configuring, and maintaining HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other people-related platforms.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the company’s HRIS and other people systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, resolving user inquiries, and providing technical support to the HR team.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Gather client/customer requirements through interviews, workshops, or other system documentation to define, test, train, implement, and support system requirements.
  • Work with IT colleagues to analyze business and IT processes, preparing solutions to meet customer technology needs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes through system enhancements, workflow improvements, and technology solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess current processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, company policies, and best practices in data management and security.
  • Monitor system access, conduct audits, and implement controls to safeguard sensitive HR information.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HR systems and analytics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimizations, and innovation to enhance employee experience.
  • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
  • Conduct research, perform accurate analyses, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential impacts to job/work areas.
  • Create, modify, and maintain procedures, process flow charts, and reports using various report writing and presentation tools.
  • Develop, document, and maintain best practices, project standards, and quality objectives, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and established methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

 

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Workforce Management Software, Payroll Software (SuccessFactors, SAP, Kronos, ADP, etc.) required.
  • Experience with Power BI and SQL to analyze and report HR data.

  • Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles, as well as industry practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential people data.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
