Dal-Tile is seeking an individual who is passionate about social media and customer engagement and advocacy.   The Social Media Community Specialist will assist in developing content, review and edit copy, and assist in increasing our social presence and followers.   This role should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging to those channels.

Our ideal candidate should be a creative and innovative thinker, organized, detail oriented, and a team player.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

  • Oversee community management and growth for social channels, including, but not limited to, daily channel monitoring, managing online conversations, and responding to comments and direct messages.
  • Monitor and report channel performance, conversations around the brand, and feedback from channel followers
  • Support the Social Media and Community Manager in content creation (copy and design), content scheduling, community management, and managing metrics
  • Social Listening – Actively monitor sentiment and perception of our brand on the web and as well as gaining a clear understanding of what type of content our audiences are most responsive to
  • Manage comments and conversations within the respective Social Media channels and triage if needed to the right department
  • Requesting and managing user-generated content across our various social media channels
  • Update and maintain social and online listings, with the most recent information (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Directly Listings, Site Landing Pages) 
  • Identify, flag, and engage on trending topics
  • Share ideas on ways to reach and engage with audiences through social media.
  • Respond to comments and follower inquiries promptly.
  • Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned. 

 

Required Experience and Education

  • 2+ years of social community engagement and social content creation.
  • Strong understanding of social media channels, content development, and social analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Experience with Sprout Social or similar Marketing & Social Media Management Tools.
  • Readiness to undertake a broad range of tasks as necessary.
